Delivers all it promises snakes – check plane – check and of course Samuel L Jackson.

Nathan Phillips stars as some guy who happens to witness the chief prosecutor get killed by gangster and Samuel L Jackson stars as Neville Flynn the FBI agent who gets him to agree to testify. They are in Hawaii and so have to fly back to L.A. So they board a passenger jet back. Mean while the gangster has had the plane filled with poisonous snakes primed to attack by a pheromone laced on the flower loops draped on passengers necks before boarding. What follows is roughly what you would expect.

This is standard over the top action adventure fare with plenty crazy snake based carnage.

Its the sort of film you think they thought up from the title backwards but supposedly this wasn't the case. It is a film that has been influenced by it online fans even coining the signature line "Enough is enough. I have had it with these motherfucking snakes on this motherfucking plane!".

Its a fairly fun film that has no real cerebral content in it at all it is ridiculous and silly but honest about what it is trying to deliver.

Does precisely what it says on the tin. If you saw the trailer and it didn't grab you, then it probably won't when you see the whole film.

That said, if the idea of snakes on a plane just seems conceptiually right somehow, then the film will not disappoint.

Its an action film. The backstory is there, but don't expect anything complex. It basically does what is needed for the setting and then gets on with the main business of the film.

There are some absolutely classic lines hidden in there, from the main one quoted by Matt above to the possibly-only-amusing-to-me "Sporks?"

We actually went and saw this with Pete. At one point in the film we actually applauded. You'll probably know when :D
