Another Ice Age film centering on the ice melting which threatens to drown the characters from the first film. This CG film has voices from Dennis Leary, Ray Romano, queen latifa, Sean William Scott, and John Leguizamo. It’s fairly well done the graphics are good; I especially liked the fur which was nicely modeled. The story is a bit kidsy but still fairly watchable. Diego Manny and Sid are trying to escape the flood caused by the melting ice and on the way joined by Crash and Eddie, two possums, and Ellie a Mammoth that thinks she is a possum. Naturally hilarity ensues.

Kids will probably love this film. I found it entertaining enough though I'm not sure I would recommend it to any adults. If you really liked the first film then maybe this film is for you.

Right. Time to do the review thing

I was the one who dragged us into this one. I saw the first one and it was good.

Unfortunately this one wasn't as good. The plot was a lot less complicated (you could write it on a stamp...) and the characters already (for the most part) know each other

While the first film had conflicting sides, conflicting opinions and polotics, the plot of this one was comparatively one-dimensional.

Don't get me wrong, I'm pretty sure this would be a good way to entertain the kids, but probably without watching it yourself. Unlike the first one and the Shrek series, this is a film with relatively few jokes for the adults in the audience. This site is written from the perspective of us viewing the film however, and the ratings reflect that.
