You may be wondering what brought this site into being. Basically we go to the cinema a lot on Sundays and see 2-4 films.

On occasion this has led to people asking us what's good on at the cinema. Unfortunately we don't have great memories, so can usually only talk about the last couple of films we'd seen and even then usually not in any detail due to not having really thought about the high/low points that might recommend it

You might think this site is here because we are lazy (i.e. someone asks us what is good at the moment we hand them a card with this web address on it) that may be partly the case but it is also so we will have thought about the films we have seen so may be able to give a response of more depth that "its alright".

So that's how this site came about. Why was it developed in secret? Well, knowing the people we are, we decided not to say anything about it in case we couldn't be arsed to actually do it.

After extensive field work and discussions with the top minds available to us at the local tescos and a polling of dominos pizza delivery drivers we came up with this rating scale to use for our films and other reviews.

We have qualified each level with a film or two to show roughly what level of enjoyment you may get when watching this film.
